Kaweco has manufactured high-quality pens and writing instruments in Germany since 1883. To commemorate their 140th anniversary in 2023, Kaweco has taken a journey back in time by debuting the limited edition Ebonite Sport.
Ebonite was once among the most popular materials for making fountain pens in the pre-plastic days of the early 20th century. This unique material is made from natural rubber and has a warm, luxurious feel.
This fountain pen combines traditional ebonite construction with the classic hexagonal Kaweco Sport body. True to the slogan "small in the pocket, great in the hand," the Sport fountain pen is a compact 4.2 inches when closed and a comfortable 5.2 inches with the cap posted. It features a screw-on cap for extra security, a gold-colored steel nib, and a metal Kaweco logo on the top of the cap.
The pen comes in a stylish gift box that includes a pack of Mixed Ink Cartridges and a gold Sport Pen Clip.
