Tools & Toys is a series of original stationery and accessories that go great with the Hobonichi Techo. The paper inside is blank except for a lightly printed illustration, and the pages are glued in instead of sewn, making them very easy to rip out. This thick A6 size memo pad includes 155 removable pages.
The cover features artwork drawn by embroiderer and illustrator Iyo Okumi. This is called "My tiny garden" and shows a girl dancing around a romantic garden filled with blooming flowers.
The cover is printed with artwork by children's book creator and illustrator Keiko Shibata. An image of Ueda-san hugging a soft-serve ice cream is printed on the inner pages in turqoise.
